  Lloyd feels threatened by people who have no fear of him and are not afraid to confront him. In the Patterson thread you’ll notice that in his arguments with slimboyfat, the banning of Nathan Natas was mentioned.

  There was a popular poster named Oompa that committed suicide. A lot of people here were upset, particularly those who had a personal in real life relationship with him. It started getting out of hand though, with several Oompa memorial threads popping up one after another with different agendas. There was an evangelical who kept invoking Jesus, which contrasted with his real life beliefs. NN tangled with Lloyd on one of these threads, making the point that dragging it out wasn’t doing anyone any good. I’d link the threads but all of NN’s posts were deleted. Lloyd’s comments about him are still up though.

  From what I was told, Lloyd chased NN into PM and NN clapped back that he was not letting this drop. Lloyd felt he had enough for a ban and got his wish, taking it to sure management. For months afterwards whenever it was brought up, Lloyd claimed it was threatening to both him and his wife, though his wife wasn’t even on the forum yet.

  People became very afraid of the guy and Lloyd really banged that drum if you were getting into it with him. He’d threaten to tattle on you to Simon and even had the forum guideline you allegedly violated handy.

  When things began to turn and it was obvious it was really Lloyd being there problem and source of all drama, people started clamouring for the return of NN and sbf, who was banned as a result of the Patterson thread. Lloyd is quite adept at getting in front of things, so he started making comments like this.

  
  

  He was actually claiming that he desired reinstatement for the very people he wanted banned in the first place! He does this all the time. He knew the tide was turning on him so he made it look like it was his idea. Eventually NN was let back on too, but NN didn’t let Lloyd off the hook so easily:

  
  

  Not only is Lloyd a liar and a coward, but very disingenuous. It’s safe to say there will never be another Lloyd Evans because people know exactly what happens when you enable someone the way he is.

  Now it’s just a matter of getting people to move on from Lloyd entirely.

  Lloyd thought Conti would literally walk into Patterson and take up ownership because WT couldn’t afford $17.3 million. In his own words, he couldn’t see any other reason why they’d put up Patterson as surety other than being unable to pay it. On appeal the court eliminated the punitive damages leaving Conti with a $2.8 million dollar settlement.
  

  THIS IS WHY WT DIDN’T FORK OVER THE $17.3 MILLION!! They give Conti that and afterwards get it reduced on appeal (which they did), then good luck trying to collect what she had already spent.

  People with legal backgrounds were trying to explain this to him and he just dismissed them and attacked others who thought the same way, sensationally telling everyone he’s bringing his guitar in the Patterson facility to sing campfire songs when Conti received the keys.

  He has something seriously wrong with him. He went from gleeful and pompous to downright rude, arrogant and threatening. And Dijana had nothing to do with that thread, nor was anyone implicating her. If she was upset in any way about it, it was solely because he was making it miserable for her.

  The claims of depression and suicide have been going on a LONG time. Due to his persistent claims of depression, stress and anxiety he attributes to both him and his wife, the weaponisation of it is obvious. He says these things as a clumsy way of shaming people to back off. (FYI - “Mrs Cedars” was never mentioned in this thread except by him). From the Patterson thread alone, here are Lloyd’s comments:

He keeps bringing up his mental health crisis and how close to suicide he was, and his takeaway is how he has changed his views on euthanasia, particularly those with mental health issues who cannot solve them. Also this:

  Absolutely. Sex trafficking is a criminal organisation type activity and even if he were the driver, he’d have to be a trusted member. Lloyd has too big of a mouth, an active social media presence and a YT channel he uploads to weekly.

  The moment he’s pulled over, he’s telling the police everything about who he’s involved with just to save his ass from jail.

  Hell, he blabbed to two female co-workers who were in contact with his wife that he regularly bangs prostitutes.

  Actually being interviewed on Dutch television is a huge disappointment for him. His preferred plan for the Hamburg murders would have been to organise candlelight vigils with JWs and exJWs alike holding hands outside Kingdom Halls all across the earth. Lloyd would then bring his guitar to the Hamburg KH and lead the crowd in singing “Imagine” after giving a brief televised speech.

  Not exactly but his mind immediately races to how he can get himself to the forefront on this with media appearances. It was on a thread here that a poster received a reply from someone at the NSPCC (Child abuse charity - UK) and Lloyd just grabbed her name from him and posted this:

  I can’t quite describe the dickhead behaviour on that particular thread accurately. You’d have to read it. It was bad even for a notorious asshole like Lloyd.

  The fact that he got on a Dutch network is due to longstanding connections there. His friend Patrick Haeck is from Belgium and I know he had several meetups there in the early days with Dutch and German exJWs also making the trip.

  A couple of years ago he made a video about the Polish exodus and went there to film one of his documentary length films. If you ever want to suffer through a livestream of his, you’ll notice that he gets a lot of his superchat donations in Euro and Polish zloty. He really isn’t popular in the UK anymore, but he has retained some measure of it in Europe.

  Lloyd pulling in donations from Polish former JWs who are undoubtedly on the lower end of the median salary there is highly exploitative. It’s not because his content is second to none, but rather he’s the only activist with the time and money to make the trip to Poland and engage with the locals. Instead of providing support and simply enjoying the association and hospitality of his hosts, he makes it into a fundraising trip. Due to the language barrier and the fact that many only get their information through him as he had intended, this Thailand scandal gets lost on many of them and they take his word that it’s pure defamation.

  Again - taking advantage of vulnerable people who probably couldn’t afford a week’s stay in Budapest. BTW - Hungary is a sex trafficking hotspot and Lloyd has never said he was giving up sex workers. It’s not the first, second or third time I’ve heard him going on hols there.

  I came to the same conclusion as you did. He pulled the same shit back when he was on this forum. Lloyd would announce that him and his wife would be going on holiday in case anyone was wondering where he went as if this place couldn’t function a week without him. Once he even appointed someone as a proxy for him in his absence.

  He really does believe that he still runs the show and everyone should wait until he gets back for the real coverage to begin. His video conducted on the street in Budapest about the Hamburg killings was one of platitudes and general remarks. It was basically “killing is bad, don’t do it, we can fight WT by exposing their doctrine, this is horrible news…”. Really just a placeholder until he can make the definitive video about the tragedy, even though he’s privy to the same information as everyone else.
